Another epic Lady Gaga video

I'll give Lady Gaga the credit she is due. When few can get airplay on MTV, she is still making videos worthy of the channel's height--then again, she might be one of the few they'll still play videos from on the air. Regardless, you can also view her videos on the interweb, such as the new one for "Judas" (above). She's continuing her Madonna-esque style, but it's still a fantastic song. Her new album Born This Way is out on May 23!

Duncan Sheik covers the 80s

Duncan Sheik is not exactly an artist that I would expect to release a covers record, and it's even more of a surprise that the subject of this release is the 80s. Planningtorock are feeling blue

There's a real depressing feeling to Planningtorock's latest, "The Breaks." The music is dreary, and the video gives off a rather bleak feeling as well. Hell, the thing even starts off with an insane blue color overtaking just about everything. Check it out above, and check out the album W on May 24.

New releases for the week of May 3, 2011

This week's releases don't nearly compete in sheer numbers to last week's, but it still is a pretty damn good week. Our favorite may just be Jason Forrest's new album, The Everything (pictured). However, that's really just the tip of the iceberg. Sade gets a greatest hits album, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, and The Damned get a collective tribute album, and even The Blind Boys of Alabama return with a new album.

It's an interesting week, with The Rentals going very indie with a release on Ernest Jenning (one of our favorite small labels), Cheeseburger releasing their newest album via Adult Swim/Williams Street, and Now, Now getting remixed.
