AIDS Wolf closed out CMJ yesterday

AIDS Wolf | Knitting Factory | October 23, 2010

AIDS Wolf at Knitting Factory, Brooklyn, NY, October 23, 2010, CMJ
Now that CMJ is over, we can finally start filling you in on exactly what happened. It was a busy week, so it's time now to play catch up. We'll start with the end. Saturday night (technically Sunday morning, as it had passed midnight) AIDS Wolf took to the stage at the Knitting Factory. The Montreal band have recently slimmed down to a three-piece, and they still maintain their loud and chaotic sound. It seemed to start off a little tamer than I have come to expect from the noisy trio, but the show did not disappoint. AIDS Wolf have a harsh sound that will probably turn off many indie kids, but they're really striving for something different that actually ends up being more fun than your average act.
