The second annual Northside Festival is gearing up for June 24-26 when a bunch of bands will play at various venues in northern Brooklyn, but now L Magaizne has added films to the lineup. All films will be screened at indieScreen, a new arthouse cinema on the corner of Kent Ave and S 2nd Street in Brooklyn. Check out the schedule after the jump.

8pm - IndieWire - "The Imperialists are Still Alive" including Q&A with director Zeina Durra
Friday, June 25
8pm - Animation Block Party - "Best of NYC Animation" short film program. Q&A with participating animators, Odd Todd, Lisa LaBracio, Aaron Hughes, and Dan Meth, moderated by ABP founder, Casey Safron.
10pm - The L Magazine - "NY Export: Opus Jazz"
Saturday, June 26
8pm - IFC Films - "Life During Wartime" by Todd Solondz Followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker.
10pm - Berlin Film Festival - "Open" by Jake Yuzna and the short film "The Feast of Stephen" by James Franco.
Sunday, June 27
6pm - Rooftop - Short film program
