CARPARK TENTH ANNIVERSARY PARTY
@ CAMEO GALLERY
93 North 6th Street
Brooklyn, NY 11211
$8, 8PM
In just a few more hours CMJ will be over, and we can (mostly) forget about it for the 360 days or so. However, it appears that the wild and craziest day is still in front of us. I grabbed what I think is a good list of most day and night shows below--I will scour for my daily "day party" post just to make sure. Not only are there a shit load of official, unofficial, and unrelated shows going on, the quality of these shows is top notch. Our favorite? I am glad I discovered the band Twin Atlantic. They have an edge to them that I have not heard much of lately. Check them out, they have quite an interesting story to read. www.twinatlantic.com You can check out some of their music as well.
Twin Atlantic is incredible. I'm glad that they were able to be apart of a showcase at CMJ. I hope that these guys get huge in the US. They have such a catchy and unique sound. Their new album Vivarium is all that I've been listening to lately!
It's so great that they'll be touring in the US so they can get more exposure here. This is seriously such an awesome band not to pass up. And the new single "What is Light, Where is Laughter?" is also pretty boss.
