Illegal Art stretches limits with Junk Culture signing

On first listen, Junk Culture sounds a lot like a typical Illegal Art act. It's sampling to create something new. However, Junk Culture is a bit more of a live band than your typical Illegal Art output. The project from Deepak Mantena has some samples, sure, but some of those are Mantena sampling himself. His brother, Nitin, joins in on drums for the live show and vocals are sung over the samples. It just goes to show that the art of stealing can be used to make something new. Illegal Art will be releasing Junk Culutre's debut EP on October 27.
