Death by Audio art installation benefit with Mick Barr, Aa (Big A, Little a), and many more

Death by Audio is getting it's very own art installation. It's called You Are Here: A Maze and it will be taking place between September 10 and October 2. The artist jargon is as follows:

Emphasizing the sprawling and interconnected nature of New York's underground, a trip through the maze offers a peak inside NYC's diy art/music scene. A meditation on passage and desire, You Are Here engulfs the space and presents beckoning inhabitants, dead ends, and uplifting epitaphs. Medium and genre vary and overlapping and simultaneous performances are frequent, each performer establishing a different corner or dead end as his or hers. You Are Here was first presented in 2007 by Trouble (Sam Hillmer and Laura Paris) at Chashama's Visual Arts Space. Over 150 artists, performers, and friends came together to make this happen.

Considering how confusing aNrt-speak can be, I'm going to try my best to translate, and say that Death by Audio will be transformed into a maze-like area, which will probably end up being a very cool looking fire hazard. However, the best piece of news from the installation may be the benefit show that is taking place this weekend with performances from Aa (Big A, Little a), Ninjasonik, the recently announced Mick Barr, and many more!
