Summerscreen's schedule (+ new location)

For the past few years, The L Magazine's Summerscreen series has been held at McCarren Park Pool. I passed by the Pool the other day; the overgrowth is sort of depressing, and a sign estimates competition for "Spring 2009." Though the state of McCarren Park Pool is sad, Summerscreen is going on strong on the McCarren Park Ballfields (Bedford and North 12th Street in Brooklyn). Reality Bites kicks off the summer on July 8. Then show up each week for a new film (the full schedule is after the jump). Some weird selections this year include David Lynch's Wild at Heart and Evil Dead 2.
