The latest signing to Merge Records is a North Carolina band by the name of Polvo. Though their album, In Prism, won't be out until September 8, Merge has already leaked a little taste of the new album with a song called "Beggar's Bowl" (we've posted it below). In addition, if that MP3 just isn't enough for you, the band will be playing a few shows this summer, including a date at the River to River Festival at South Street Seaport on July 31.
