The Legends | Santos Party House | June 24, 2009
The Legends played their second of four New York City shows last night at Santos Party House; the band also play Bowery Ballroom with The Lemonheads tonight and The Studio at Webster Hall tomorrow. Though The Legends are pretty much the brainchild of Johan Angergård, he brought a group of folks along with him to fill out the sound. The best songs from The Legends always seem to be when Angergård puts a jangly twist onto his rock songs--though the man knows how to craft songs well beyond his catchiest pop melodies.
