Much like most of my generation, The Vaselines are known as one of those bands that Kurt Cobain talked about all the time. Nirvana ended up covering a bunch of their songs, which found their way onto Unplugged and Incesticide. But the original band is back and playing Bowery Ballroom tonight with intentionally-difficult-to-Google openers, Woods.
