A Fine Frenzy readies sophomore release

For all intents and purposes A Fine Frenzy is Alison Sudol, an Los Angeles-based alt-pianist. She broke big onto the scene in 2007 with her debut album One Cell in the Sea, and now she's prepping a followup. On September 8, 2009, Virgin Records will release A Fine Frenzy's new album Bomb in a Birdcage. A quote from Sudol reveals:

"I think some people may be surprised...They think that I’m all fragile and ethereal, but I have a wild side, too. I’m a quiet person with a loud streak, and this record is a testament to that."

Does this means that this record gets all loud and rockin'? We hope so! The first single will be entitled "Blown Away," but no tracklisting or tour dates are available yet, but we're sure they'll be coming soon.
