The last time I went to a concert at the Museum of Modern Art, it was a packed house which resulted in chaotic crowd surfing. Yeah, I never expected that to happen in a museum, but I have a feeling similar antics could repeat themselves on May 23 when DFA's Black Meteoric Star plays the space. It's part of the museum's PopRally series of events.
That's not all. Black Meteoric Star will be releasing several singles before compiling them together on an album set for release on June 9. The kicker is that the act also has "...a remix featured on the upcoming soundtrack for the remake of the movie TRON." Which means that, yes, there's going to be a remake of the movie, TRON!
